Who sells and who refunds
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides customer service enquiries and handles returns and refunds. When you buy a Pressfox plan, the invoice and the receipt come from Paddle, the taxes are calculated and collected by Paddle, and refunds are issued by Paddle to the payment method you used. Because Paddle is the merchant of record, Paddle's name appears on your card statement, not ours.
The 14-day window
Email support within 14 days of a payment, the first purchase or a renewal, and we refund that payment in full. Your first refund is no questions asked. Later refund requests for the same workspace are at our discretion; we look at each one and answer within two business days. We do not pro-rate, and there is no "all sales final" clause anywhere in our terms. Refunds are returned to the original payment method; card refunds usually show within 5 to 10 business days depending on your bank.
A refund ends the plan
When we refund a subscription payment in full, the paid plan ends that day: the subscription is cancelled so it does not renew, and the workspace moves to the Free plan. Your data is kept: templates, reports and settings stay as they are, so you can export them or subscribe again later. A partial refund, or the refund of an AI translation pack or an overage charge, does not change your plan.
Cancelling never refunds automatically
You can cancel yourself at any time: open Billing in the app and choose Cancel subscription, or use Paddle's customer portal (Manage payment in Billing, or the link on any receipt). The plan keeps working to the end of the period you paid for and then does not renew. Cancelling does not refund the current period; if the payment is less than 14 days old, ask as above.
After 14 days
Charges older than 14 days are not refunded as a rule. If you believe a charge is wrong, for example a renewal after you cancelled or an overage line that does not match your usage in the app, write to us and we will correct it regardless of the date.
Deleting a workspace
Deleting a workspace cancels its subscription at once, and nothing is billed for it again. The unused part of the period already paid is not refunded automatically; the 14-day rule above applies to that payment if you ask.
Overage and add-ons
Overage charges are for report units already rendered and delivered, and AI translation packs are for units added to your workspace at once: once used, neither is refundable. If a charge is wrong, we correct it as above. Report storage packs are part of the subscription payment and follow its rules.
How to ask
- Email support at hello@pressfox.io with the Paddle invoice number or the workspace name, or
- contact Paddle directly through the link on your receipt or at paddle.net, quoting the same number.
Either route works; we answer refund requests within two business days.
Taxes
Refunds include the tax charged on the original transaction. Paddle issues a credit note for the refunded invoice.
